What We’re Looking For:
As a Supervisor for Kohler Co., you will be a leader responsible
for directly overseeing front-line associates within a specific functional area
at our Sheridan campus.  We have Supervisor
openings in our warehousing operations, focused on inventory control, shipping
and material flow.  We currently have
openings for our weekday 2nd shift and weekend 1st shift.  In this role, you will leverage
your leadership to build a culture of safety and quality, while driving
productivity to achieve department targets.
Specific Responsibilities
Accountable for the overall
safety of work teams as well as the coaching of work teams to monitor
safety and conduct effective safety meetings.  Lead safety analysis, thoroughly
understand the proper usage of equipment within the work team, and lead
incident investigations
Develop weekly work schedules as well as oversee the
work team as they develop and execute the daily schedules.   In addition, provide guidance and tools
for work team to manage scheduled time off such as vacations.  Coach team on the basics of on-time
deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the hiring, development
and leadership of multiple work teams. 
Accountable for establishing work expectations, monitoring
individual performance, providing ongoing feedback, facilitating
on-the-job training, coaching performance issues, resolving conflict,
reinforcing positive behavior, effectively collaborating with other
functional areas (i.e. engineering, quality, purchasing) and driving the
Kohler Key Beliefs and Code of Conduct among all team members. 
Create and develop a culture of continuous
improvement by identifying process improvement opportunities and reaching
an annual decrease in operating costs because of process improvements.  
Investigate associate concerns and determine actions for resolutionRole model and enforce all company policies and
guidelines, especially as they relate to safety and Kohler’s Code of Conduct
