Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER, ENGINE AND PROPULSION SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (SE) BRANCH HEAD in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND AIRCRAFT LAUNCH AND RECOVERY EQUIPMENT GROUP, SUPPORT EQUIPMENT DEPARTMENT, COMMON AND COMMERICAL SYSTEMS DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03/GS-9/12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Adjusting workload and providing guidance to branch personnel to ensure all projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives; Ensuring that branch personnel are trained, developed, and mentored to grow and excel in various designated career field; Working and collaborating with Integrated Program Team Leaders (IPTL) to ensure resource and skill set demand required for mission execution are met effectively; Identifying staffing requirements, overseeing journeyman level hiring, and developing the workforce to support mission demand; and Encouraging team members to work together toward common goals and redirect resources as required to accomplish tasking across functional areas. You will apply new concepts and experienced judgment to solve a variety of highly complex technical problems.
You will meet customer needs and provide overall management/direction of their Branch’s workforce, processes and products.
You will provide complex professional services directly affecting the organization that is a large, complex multi-mission military installation with work directly involving or substantially impacting professional and/or technical functions.
You will formulate, analyze, and demonstrate novel and innovative technical solutions and logistics strategies for improving platform mission effectiveness.
You will be responsible for the overall supervision, management, and leadership of a multidisciplined branch.
You will provide engineering, logistics and program management expertise for the design, development, test, fielding and in-service engineering and logistics support for engine and propulsion SE.
