Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience includes: Experience in supervising; being an advisor and liaison to senior management on sensitive information and activities; managing and coordinating tasks for executive level actions; and conducting executive level briefings. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Manages responses and coordinates on a variety of external inquiries, media questions, and press releases regarding the Agency contract audit mission.
Plans and coordinates briefings to Congressional Committees, Subcommittees, and professional staff. Coordinates and prepares the agenda from Executive Steering Committee (ESC) briefings.
Prepares briefing sessions for external organizations having interface with the Director, Deputy, and/or HQ Assistant Directors. Reviews content of presentations for appropriateness and policy considerations.
Performs a variety of special projects, tasks, and assignments assigned by the Director or Deputy Director, some of highly confidential or sensitive in nature.
Manages the planning and administration of the Agency's strategic plan. Supports the ESC in establishing the plan, and in monitoring plan activities and status.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs and supervises program and administrative support staff.
