Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing financial information systems to provide legal or regulatory guidance on acquisitions, predicting project costs of programs or activities, and analyzing contract plans. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. Provide advice to staff regarding financial management, obligation, and expenditures of contract funds.
Investigate and recommend day-to-day adjustments when unusual accounting problems arise.
Plan and manage business operations to facilitate the Army’s operational functions and to support management decision making.
Coordinate resources to identify and extract data necessary to support a performance metrics contracting process.
Evaluate agency functions and activities being considered for in-sourcing.
