Specialized experience is defined as: One year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level which includes: 1) providing expert advice and guidance to management officials on disciplinary, adverse, and performance based actions; 2) Utilizing Human Resource management tools to include classification, labor, management-employee relations, and staffing; 3) ) providing technical advice to supervisors and managers performing civilian employee related functions; and 4) plans, assigns, and directs the technical work of subordinates. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational Awareness Personnel and Human Resources Staffing and Recruiting Workforce Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Primary Advisor on HR Policies, Programs, and Initiatives
Advisor to key leadership on organizational structure and position management as it pertains to civilian positions
Participate in work force analysis, succession planning, and other long-range planning for civilian work force
As supervisor, exercises the full range of personnel management responsibility.
