Job Description:
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Plans and Programs Division (SP10), Program Integration Branch (SP11) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitored program execution and analyzed acquisition data to develop program plans, track funding and schedules, and provide recommendations that support leadership decisions and mission objectives. You will serve as a Nuclear Armed Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Acquisition Management Program Analyst at Strategic Systems Program (SSP) in Washington, DC.
You will provide policy expertise, and guidance on acquisition management, budget execution, program analysis, and the strategy and planning for SSP.
You will ensure that the acquisition strategy and acquisition plan is developed to expend the resources provided by the Navy Resource Sponsor to SSP in an efficient and cost-effective manner to support assigned programs.
You will support the SP11C Section Head and the SLCM-N acquisition managers in the development and maintenance of the acquisition strategy, the acquisition plan, and required documents in support of acquisition reviews.
You will manage status and staffing of acquisition documents for external commitment, ensuring timely submission of an integrated, quality product that meets DoD 5000 requirements, and ensure that documents meet the intent of Navy processes.
You will work with command level scheduler to ensure areas of shared resources or elimination of conflicts in schedules between Trident and Conventional Prompt Strike.
