Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) developing and executing all existing and new plans, programs and processes pertaining to airworthiness; 2) executing policy for the technical content and engineering coordination required to produce AW certification products, including Flight Clearances (FC); 3) planning and conducting the necessary engineering reviews to ensure FC completeness, technical accuracy, and conformance to established policies and instructions; 4) assists leadership in developing and implementing new standards/policies/processes for FCs. You will support the ACO (Airworthiness and Cybersafe Support Office) with regard to the airworthiness and safety of flight assessments of all Department of Navy air vehicles.
You will serve as an ACO expert, technical authority, and consultant to senior officials on matters relating to air vehicle flight clearance policy, establishing airworthiness, managing risk mitigation and implementing limitation thresholds.
