Job Description:

You will serve as a Manager in the Ammunition Engineering Support Branch (W72), Conventional Ammunition Division (W7) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing execution and resource allocation of sustainment, in-service engineering, testing and logistics efforts related to ammunition or gun weapons systems. You will serve as the branch manager, responsible for direction and supervision of in-service engineering and logistics missions in support of assigned NAVSEA ammunition and NAVAIR Gun Weapon System portfolios.
You will plan for organization growth or contraction.
You will coordinate and integrate the work of lower organizational units to include the work of team leads, administrative, technical, and engineering professional staff.
You will direct and oversee activities for Program Management goals and objectives.
You will assess program development and execution and lead efforts to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
You will identify where corrective action is needed and provide assistance and advice where problems exist or are developing.
You will serve as the associated programmatic subject matter expert to higher level authorities including PEO IWS and PMA-242.
You will be responsible for leading and mentoring employees, guiding career development of subordinates, and developing employee short and long term career objectives.
