Job Description:

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL) in the Command Admin of NAS PATUXENT RIVER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of military policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain military personnel service records; 2) Researching information in military records and databases in order to respond to inquiries regarding military human resources issues; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain military records. You will analyze reports, forms, documentation and other travel related information to ensure accurate identification of travel-related entitlements.
You will review and monitor the work performed by junior processors for compliance with military human resource rules, regulations, procedures and precedents.
You will research pay discrepancies to determine appropriate resolution.
You will update customers on the status of requested information.
