THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST, Position Description Number PDD0888P01 and is part of the WY United States Property and Fiscal Office, Wyoming Army National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.
TECHNICIAN INFO Type of Appointment: Permanent Tenure: Group 1 or 2 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm FLSA: Exempt Telework: The duties of this position require primary physical presence. Situational telework may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Para/Line: 1621/701 Selecting Official: MSG Skye Edwards AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: Referrals of qualified applicants will be issued in the following order: Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the USPFO. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming National Guard. Area 4: All current Drill Status Airmen and M-day soldiers of the Wyoming National Guard. Area 6: Current military members of the United States military branches or prior service members of one of those military branches. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. MILITARY GRADE In-State Applicants: Min: E-6 Max: E-8 Out-of-State enlisted applicant's military grade cannot exceed the maximum military grade authorized. Over-grade applicants must provide a written demotion statement of understanding with application, willingness to be administratively reduced in grade (E8/MSG) if selected for this position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field; experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-9: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level; experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc.; experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment; knowledge of supply functions, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures; experience in cost estimates, budgets, or funding management; experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support; experience requiring person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. GS-11: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level; experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions; knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system; experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues; experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume. DRIVER'S LICENSE: Must possess a valid driver's license.
This position is located in the Supply and Services Division of the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO). Its purpose is to perform comprehensive analysis of logistical procedures, services, directives, and the operation of the division. The incumbent compiles, correlates, and submits various reports on logistical functions and provides technical guidance and policy direction for the division. Acts in behalf of the Supply Management Officer when required. (1) Reviews, analyzes, and interprets logistical directives and procedural instructions, to include internal controls from higher authority, and recommends local policy and procedures for the Division. (2) Reviews results of property book validations, and external evaluations to determine systemic problems. (3) Provides functional analysis of automated support requirements. (4) Keeps supervisor advised on current status of management control issues within the Division.
