About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby Shop, Beale AFB, CA.. You will be scheduled to work anywhere from 0-40 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. This position does not receive benefits. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools and parts. Cash handling experience is a requirement for this position. Must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service.
Responsible for managing equipment, tools, and repair stall reservations, including providing guidance on proper usage, recommending necessary tools for repair, and instructing customers on cleaning protocols. Ensures cleanliness of repair and pit areas, assesses tools for damage, and charges customers for any necessary tool usage. Handles cash register transactions and may operate a motor vehicle. Additional responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries and performing other assigned duties.
