Job Description:

You will serve as a NCRC and ALRE Wartime Planning Lead in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DP-04/GS-12-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Advising on, administering, or performing professional, scientific, or technical work concerned with engineering projects, facilities, structures, systems, processes, equipment, devices, material or methods; 2) Supporting the NAVAIR HQ Contingency and Fleet Engagement office, NAVAIR Contingency Response Center team, and executing the ASN(RD&A) assigned Wartime Planning efforts; 3) Providing recommendations to management on how to best execute planning in terms of classification levels, required personnel clearances, SME involvement, and other factors; 4) Contributing to the identification and prioritization of ALRE technology gaps and developing opportunities for Naval Air investments programs for future capabilities; 5) Maintaining an awareness of new or emerging capability requirements throughout the command and related external communities to facilitate their creation and investment in the solution of existing command problems in the S&T, RDT&E, Acquisition and Sustainment phases. You will exercise leadership to those executing NCRC programs such as Forward Deployed Combat Repair and Table Top Exercises
You will be responsible for Special Projects for ALRE Wartime Capabilities and Technologies; to include Special Sensitive areas.
You will participate/represent on NAVSEA exercises related to its Ship Wartime Repair and Maintenance (SWaRM) initiatives.
You will provide all coordination and development of the PMA 251 Wartime Acquisition Response Plan.
You will participate in high level collaborative efforts across Naval Aviation enterprise teams (ECH II/III/IV) both within NAVAIR and across agencies.
You will implement a wartime pivot to include planning/analysis of classified TTX’s, wartime surge production, Forward Deployed Combat Repair, workforce shift and flowing warfighting capability requirements to actionable Acq/sustainment plans.
