To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related. Graduate education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of qualifying experience are: Experience with tracking budgets and reporting expenses. Experience with planning and coordinating events, including meetings and travel arrangements. Experience with maintaining accountable property and proper use of a government issued credit card. Advising and providing guidance to employees handling administrative support matters. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Have a combination of education and experience. This experience must have equipped you with the qualifications to perform the major duties of this position as described above. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. Maintains a data entry system for the systematic recording of project requests and executive correspondence for the Division's Executive Staff. Reviews the log daily and briefs the Executive Assistant on the status of projects and responses daily. Serves as the key point of contact between the Assistant Director, Senior Deputy Assistant Directors, Executive Assistant, and Special Assistant concerning the data entry system. Screens calls and visitors to the Division's Executive Staff, forwarding only those calls of visitors requiring their attention and referring all others to the appropriate office. Maintains an appointment calendar and makes commitments for the Division's Executive Staff to attend meetings and other functions. Plans and coordinates all travel arrangements for the Division's Executive Staff and maintains a comprehensive travel, leave, and appointment schedule. Provides advice and guidance to Division staff as to the preparation of travel authorizations and vouchers.
