About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Beale Lanes/Spare Time Grill, Beale AFB.. You will be scheduled to work anywhere from 0-40 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. This position does not receive benefits.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers. Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods.
Informs guests of menu specials. May be required to receive and submit initial patron drink orders. Takes food orders, totals up the sale, and accepts payment, providing change as necessary. Payment may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card. At the end of each tour of duty, the incumbent clears the cash register, completes all supporting documentation and submits to supervisor. Elevates problems to supervisor for resolution. Maintains hostess station and register in clean and orderly condition.
