The Work:

The
Omnicell / Pharmacy Application Coordinator
is responsible for the comprehensive management, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Omnicell system. This role involves leading the configuration, support, and troubleshooting of Omnicell to ensure its alignment with business needs and efficient integration with Epic. The coordinator will oversee environment management, capacity planning, workflow optimization, and access control, ensuring data integrity and system stability.
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, support, and optimization of the Omnicell pharmacy system, including the ADS cabinets and software.
Maintain production and non-production environments, ensuring synchronization and consistency.
Evaluate storage requirements and plan for future capacity needs.
Manage the configuration of workflows and user settings to align with evolving business requirements.
Design and redesign workflows to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Review and refine existing workflows for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot integration issues between Omnicell and Epic.
Ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
Manage user access and permissions within the Omnicell system.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance and security.
Maintain the integrity of the prod and Non-prod RALS environments.
Ensure the environments are in sync with current configurations and updates.
Plan for system upgrades and enhancements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, workflows, and procedures.
This role requires onsite 30%-75% of the time and regular on-call schedule (rotation for nights/weekends)
