Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, build, testing, and implementation of new clinical applications and upgrades.
Serve as the primary technical expert for designated clinical applications, providing advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders (e.g., physicians, nurses, allied health professionals) to gather requirements, optimize workflows, and ensure application functionality aligns with clinical needs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other application coordinators and IT staff.
Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
Manage system configurations, security, and integrity for assigned applications.
Facilitate effective communication between clinical departments and IT, translating clinical requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support critical clinical systems.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in clinical informatics. 90% Remote, 0-10% possible onsite in Dallas area
On-call rotations will be likely during evenings and weekend.
