Job Description:
You will serve as a Branch Manager in the Software Engineering Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at ND-04 or equivalent to the (GS 12-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or computer scientist providing technical oversight and direction in the areas of design, test, and evaluation of the software development life cycle for the sustainment and maintenance of complex combat and weapon systems. You will be responsible for yearly Task Planning Sheet, Basis of Estimates, Work Breakdown Structure, SCRUM, Program Increments planning, budget estimates, Program Office Memorandum Input, financial execution and management for each program office.
You will be responsible for program resources, management and execution of the assigned branch.
You will execute spend plans and monitor branch financial statuses.
You will analyze new developments for potential application to program requirements.
You will perform various personnel administrative functions in accordance with command or higher-level policies and instructions.
