Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (ARMORY) in the HEADQUARTERS AND SUPPORT BATTALION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience working in an armory forecasting, requisitioning, receiving, delivering, transporting, issuing, AND/OR turning in small arms ammunition and explosives to support weapons ranges, field training exercises OR demolitions ranges; completing armory inventories AND overseeing periodic maintenance of weapons to include functionality checks AND cleanliness. You will conduct inventories of weapons, equipment, and ammunition in accordance with applicable regulations.
You will accurately complete all forms and records associated with the operations of the battalion armory.
You will Open and close the battalion armory and operates the intrusion detection system (IDS) in accordance with Marine Corps Regulation.
You will Conduct a visual, by count, inventory each time the battalion armory is opened for operations and maintenance, when a change of custody occurs, and each time the arms room is closed.
You will receive, secure, and issue privately owned weapons and ammunition in accordance with applicable regulations.
You will update databases with information provided from various sources to ensure proper accountability of equipment.
You will analyze and maintain discrepancy reports, material obligation and backorder validation, and requisition management reports to trend analysis and prioritization of work effort done through reconciliation with the supply section.
You will perform a variety of administrative tasks by preparing a variety of recurring reports, narrative, and tabular materials such as equipment status report.
