You will serve as a MANAGER in the Advanced Computing Systems Engineering Branch within Network & Digital Systems Engineering Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate as a professional ENGINEER responsible for managing advanced computing systems and software for shipboard systems. You will manage multiple projects in the areas of advanced computing systems and software for the US Navy shipboard systems.
You will perform duties independently and assign tasks to individual project managers, other engineers, or technicians.
You will establish and maintain liaison with the NAVSEA program offices and applicable DOD and contractor personnel, other leading ad-hoc, multiple agency teams to ensure that design goals and performance requirements are achieved.
You will establish and execute budgets and Work Breakdown Structures.
You will provide leadership to integrate various department processes and initiatives in support of applicable Digital Engineering Department guidance and policies.
