In addition to the Basic Education requirement: FOR THE ND-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer coordinating or conducting projects, analysis, studies, or problem solving for the design, development, test & evaluation, integration, or in-service engineering of warfare systems. FOR THE ND-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer performing design, development, test & evaluation, integration, or in-service engineering functions for warfare systems. FOR THE ND-02: Successful completion of the basic education requirement per the OPM Professional Engineering Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR) as specified in the link and Education section below. You will perform analysis activities and studies of the SLBM weapon system, involving modeling effects based on changes to the weapon control system.
You will work on products including, but not limited to, internal tools, computationally intensive models, and software such as trajectory models.
You will perform engineering and software development and data development tasks for the SLBM weapon system.
You will perform test and evaluation tasks for the SLBM weapon system.
You will perform model development tasks for the SLBM weapon system.
You will participate as part of an Agile development team, interfacing with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, project lead coordinators, configuration management, and customers to clarify tasking, identify problems, and develop solutions.
You will participate in and present at Daily Standup Meetings, Sprint Planning and Refinement Meetings, and Sprint Reviews as well as sponsor level working groups, depending on tasking.
