Job Description:
You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the General Fund Business Office Division, Financial Systems Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09/12) grade level or pay band (NM-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Preparing performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work; (2) Giving advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters as well as interviewing candidates for positions within the unit, and recommending appointments like promotions/reassignments to such positions; (3) Ensuring sound fiscal management by observing and applying management and classification principles which includes analyzing and monitoring costs, forecasting budgets, and providing information to higher level management on future staffing, facility space, and equipment needs; (4) Acting as a project/ task team leader for medium to large technical projects and/or business initiatives to supervise a team of lower-level employees assigned to the work initiative efforts; and (5) Serving as a supervisor to review financial proposals for expanded or alternative work proposed by other employees/contractors to handle any major issues or controversies by recommending what work and/or services will be performed and what compromises can be accepted.
