General Experience: Possess experience, education, or training which indicates the candidate performed progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. DIGITAL PRODUCTION SYSTEM TECHNICIAN, GS-0303-7: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-06 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: the ability to utilize network software, compact discs or downloads job orders from the internet military web sites or local servers to capture information originated with a wide variety of work processing, graphics, and desktop publishing software packages; the ability to modify electronic media as necessary to ensure the best product possible. THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the DIGITAL PRODUCTION SYSTEM TECHNICIAN, GS-0303-7, is to set up, adjust, operate and maintain an electronic publishing system with sophisticated network accessed document publishing, scanning, etc. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
