Job Description:

You will serve as a Qualify of Life Director in the G-1 of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector establishing, implementing, and overseeing quality of life (QoL) programs; analyzing requirements and developing courses of action to address changing needs or new requirements in QoL programs; participating in interagency processes in support of QoL programs; communicating recommended courses of action regarding QoL programs to senior leadership. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will direct program effectiveness assessment, development of internal and regional procedures required to develop, modify and implement policy.
You will direct consistent interpretation, analysis, and assessment of policy effectiveness at commands and with subordinate managers.
You will perform oversight and render advice and guidance to over ninety divers programs.
You will consider personnel availability through subordinate activities and their capabilities, types of programs, methods and program delivery and issue impacting final program outcomes to ensure accomplishment of tasks.
You will develop standards and techniques for managing, performing and monitoring organizational duties
You will make overall assignment of work to subordinate managers and when appropriate, establish priorities and dates for completion.
You will evaluate subordinates and give advise, counsel, or instructions to individual employees on both work and administrative matters.
You will direct the development and actively participate in public relations programs concerning complex Quality of Life issues to further the Marine community and civilian understand and acceptance official objectives
