Job Description:

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst at the NAVAL ACADEMY.
GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing budget, accounting, or financial management reports and procedures within an organization; 2) Developing and reporting of cost/ performance information in support of mission tasks for an organization; 3) Executing approved financial management policies with the organization based on existing policy and utilizes established or emerging procedures; 4) Preparing responses to financial reviews or audits (IE: FMB, GAO, DOD IG, etc.) which involve financial management policies and procedures. You will perform or advise on work in phases or systems of budget administration.
You will analyze and recommend the costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support organization’s programs and activities.
You will identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems such as development of alternative methods of funding, formulation of budget estimates for programs in funding requirements have changed.
