Job Description:
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the PROJECT MANAGEMENT DIVISION, OCEAN ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading and evaluating technical engineering projects by identifying program inefficiencies and implementing developed recommendations to ensure alignment with strategic organizational direction. You will provide centralized coordinated management of Ocean Engineering Projects to achieve the programs strategic objectives and benefits.
You will review and manage schedules, budgets, and earned value of assigned tasking. Coordinate with technical representatives to discuss scope of work including design, fabrication, software, documentation and work cognizance.
You will coordinate long-range planning for technical and production support with Engineering and Production respectively, to determine what support is required and ensuring schedules are met.
You will resolve issues and change management within a shared governance structure.
You will be the primary customer point of contact for new work and/or capability development within their respective projects.
