You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Marine Forces Reserve Command of MARFORRES NOLA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:(1) Managing maintenance and construction projects for small to large facilities; (2) Reviewing contracts, specifications, and production plans for facilities work (3) Overseeing facility management resources including personnel, service contracts, financial programs, space utilization, and information resources. You will advise and provide guidance and technical assistance on routine, and emergency maintenance matters.
You will conduct on-site visits to assess construction operations for compliance with plans and specifications.
You will monitor project milestones and ensure that completion deadlines are consistently met.
You will review and edit reports to ensure accuracy of form and content prior to final submission to the requesting agencies/persons.
You will visit substandard or unsafe facilities to assess repairs and modernization needed to meet mission requirements and accommodate equipment.
