Job Description:
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Comptroller Department (01), Budget Division (011) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $156,755). The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional accountant analyzing and evaluating complex financial data and procedures to resolve and mitigate Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) system issues for improved financial management processes, legislation and regulation compliance, and support of a Working Capital Fund (WCF) activity. You will serve as technical expert for non-traditional sponsor requests and special programs related to comptroller functions and leading accounting functions.
You will prepare, analyze, interpret and present unique and complex accounting data.
You will use accounting information to identify financial and management problems and recommend solutions to unusually difficult issues that have extraordinary urgency, priority and constraints.
You will operate, maintain, and modify accounting information in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System at a Working Capital Fund (WCF) field activity.
You will interface with nontraditional sponsor funding and comptroller departments, establishing and navigating complex financial and administrative arrangements at TS/SCI classified levels on behalf of the Command.
You will lead BFM and Comptroller business functions that require an understanding of TS/SCI classified program requirements to facilitate program development with non-traditional sponsors and special programs by the command performers.
