Job Description:

You will serve as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Undersea Test Resources, Planning, & Coordination Division of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying comprehensive knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes to assess and manage cybersecurity risks for enterprise networks and legacy systems to improve the security, availability, and effectiveness of cyber information systems. Your resume must also demonstrate the following four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving. You will be responsible for developing and integrating Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for new and existing systems.
You will monitor DoD information systems and provide assessments to improve information technology using expertise in operating systems, software, and applications utilized by the DoD.
You will be responsible for the implementation, testing, and remediation actions required to secure information systems.
You will apply security controls, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS), and software patches.
You will conduct security scans and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert Maintenance (IAVM) activities as required.
You will manage and plan the successful execution of cybersecurity projects.
You will lead government teams and work with contractor personnel to independently document, build, and test secure information systems using appropriate Nacy Testing Guidance.
You will identify system risks and provide recommendations to achieve compliance, develop mitigation strategies, and remediation actions for identified risks.
You will coordinate programmatic activities, participate in, and provide data for collaboration meetings.
