Job Description:
You will serve as the Human Resources Director (HRD) and senior advisor for the regional Human Resources Office (HRO) of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII providing comprehensive human resources services to all installations and programs. Services provided include strategic planning, organizational design and structure, recruiting, staffing, classification, employee relations, labor relations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), injury compensation, employees assistance programs, and training.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing, directing, or managing the delivery of civilian federal human resources (HR) services involving one or more of the following functions: staffing and recruitment, position classification, compensation, labor relations, employee relations, oversight of automated personnel information systems, or employee development; ensuring compliance with governing laws and regulations; developing, interpreting, or advising senior management on human resource policies and administration; or providing input for the strategic planning of human capital resources for an organization. You will represent management in all human resources management issues.
You will establish and promotes various information media and personnel contacts with local and government agencies.
You will provide immediate and long-range, systematic human resources planning in support of CNIC's mission, goals and objective.
You will provide authoritative advice, guidance and direction to top-level management and key operating officials throughout the Region on civilian HR strategies, programs, regulations and practices.
You will conduct meetings and conferences with top-level management officials to provide information on and answer questions related to human resources policies and programs.
