Job Description:
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Materials Management Department of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA located in Ewa Beach, HI. This position is equivalent to the GS-9/10 level.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-5/6/7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying basic procedures of inventory management to assist in the procurement, receipt, shipping, stowage, or disposal of an organization's inventory. You will assist senior level employees and supervisors to initiate, develop, schedule, implement, and monitor options to solve problems in materials management; manages inventory through Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).
You will recommend ways to resolve material support programs.
You will perform audits on Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions.
You will coordinate and track actions required as a result of internal/external audits.
You will evaluate findings; compile, analyze, and evaluate various supply operational statistics, including performance metrics per the Reimbursable Memorandum of Agreement.
You will recommend policy and/or procedural changes for improved supply effectiveness and responsiveness.
You will provide continuous coordination and liaison between various organization units to ensure supply program effectiveness.
You will operate vehicles and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to transport, load, or move material.
