Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitor and develop programs relating to substance misuse prevention and treatment, identify problems and develop continuous improvements to achieve program goals. Schedule work for the staff to accomplish aligning with mission goals while developing means to increase production and quality and evaluate completed work and give feedback as necessary. You will monitor progress towards program goals and identify issues.
You will organize work, set priorities and determines resource requirements for all counseling center staff.
You will directly address matters involving: difficult and complex problems, application of new or questionable counseling techniques and methods, and decisions that require further clarification with the higher level behavioral health supervisor.
You will plan and schedule ongoing work to be accomplished by all staff including administrative, clinical, prevention and drug demand reduction.
You will evaluate work performance of subordinates; give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
You will develop and fully administer a multi-modality comprehensive treatment program designed to treat substance use disorder related problems of active duty military and other eligible personnel.
