The Work:
As an SAP Production Planning Lead, you will be responsible for:
Lead a team of resources to analyze requirements and configure and implement SAP Production Planning (PP) modules in a manufacturing environment (discrete manufacturing).
Leading client Fit/Gap workshops on SAP PP best practices
Configuring and implementing SAP PP modules for manufacturing
Developing and optimizing production planning processes.
Integrating SAP PP with other SAP modules like MM and SD.
Assisting with the functional data conversion validation.
Preparing test scripts, test data, and executing functional unit tests and system integration tests.
Providing support and training for SAP PP/DS end-users.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to SAP PP modules.
Ensuring data integrity and accuracy within the SAP system.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with clients on process and system design for the following areas:
Production capacity planning
Plan rough cut capacity
Plan detailed capacity
Capture, monitor, adjust capacity
Production planning & scheduling
Import demand plan
Manage material requirements planning
Perform production scheduling
Plan long – run/term production
Manage detailed production
Issue / Dispatch planned, process, production orders
This is a hybrid role in Nashville, TN and will require 3 days per week in the office. May consider qualified applicants in Houston, TX.
