Job Description:
This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project in Coolidge, Arizona. The incumbent will be responsible for all maintenance, installation, disconnects, reconnects, reading and testing of single-phase and three-phase meters for the customers of SCIP. NOTE: TRAVEL AND RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED. ANY RELOCATION EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH REPORTING FOR DUTY WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELECTED EMPLOYEE.
This position is OPEN UNTIL FILLED and may be extended or closed prior to the current closing date. To qualify for this Foreman I Meter Reader and Installer position, you must meet ALL of the following: Have the ability to lead and supervise the following: applying standard electric utility metering principles and practices in installing, disconnecting and reading metering equipment in residential, commercial and industrial applications, and performing inspection of service entrance equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Possess a current, valid U.S. State issued Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class A) in order to drive and operate U.S. government owned and leased vehicles and equipment All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
