You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DIVISION (105), CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (10), within the SECURITY POLICY & PROGRAMS BRANCH (1051) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. ***Open to applicants at Current ORG 105 (includes branches.)
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing a Personnel Security Program for management of investigations and continuous evaluation to maintain compliance with national security eligibility standards for an organization. You will serve as the Personnel Security (PERSEC) Team Program Manager, to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the command's Personnel Security Program (PSP) and Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP).
You will ensure proper investigation and enrollment of personnel in continuous vetting, and accurately reflecting their security eligibility and position sensitivity in DISS or successor systems.
You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard PSP data, reports, and investigative results.
You will lead the PERSEC team in managing workload, fostering team development, and ensuring compliance with all applicable security directives.
You will participation in the Insider Threat Program, processing derogatory information, and reporting it to the DCSA AVS when appropriate.
You will collaborate with supervisors, HR, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure personnel adhere to program requirements and to facilitate necessary command actions related to security eligibility and sensitive position assignments.
