THIS IS A NORTH DAKOTA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This ND National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1232P02 and is part of the ND G4, National Guard.

(MOS is not a disqualifying factor of eligibility) QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE Length of time is not of itself qualifying. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the least one year of specialized experience at the GS 09 level or civilian equivalent which includes: 1) identifying activities involving logistical support operations; 2) Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan; 3) Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan; and 4) Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.
As a Logistics Management Specialist, the primary purpose of this position is to provide support to Automated Logistics Information Systems and Programs to all state activities/organizations and perform a wide range of specialized methods/techniques for planning; analyzing and identifying problems in order to develop and implement resolutions to administrative and systemic programs throughout the organization. Serves as an advisor to the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist on all Combat Service Support (CSS) Automated Logistics Information Systems and Programs. Serves as a Systems Administrator for all Automated Logistics Information Systems and Programs and as the technical expert within the state/territory responsible for providing technical and functional guidance for serviced Automated Logistics Information Systems and Programs. Serves as the primary point of contact for Functional Administrators and users of the serviced database(s). Analyzes requirements, establishes programs/procedures ensuring effective coordination on CSS automation hardware systems and peripherals pertaining to the receipt, distribution, installation, and life cycle management of devices that are directed to be managed at unit/state level. Serves as the primary point of contact on all CSS automation continuity of operations plan (COOP), development, and execution.
