Specific responsibilities of a Retail Associate include:
Greet, welcome and assist all guests on their purchasing needs and educate them on the products and services provided. Assist in overall organization of area by making sure that merchandise is in the proper location. Continually learn more about the products carried at the spas through vendor presentations and supervisor/associate meetings. Assist in maintenance of store: Cleaning, dusting, product pricing, product placements, ordering products, etc. Attend product knowledge classes. Suggestive sell our retail offerings, spa promotions and inform guests of sales and events. Cashiering and finalizing the Sale: opening and closing of register, ringing sales (cash, credit card, gift certificate, room charges etc), processing coupons, discounts, markdowns, and end-of-day reports. Assist in checking in shipments and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor as well as assisting to correct orders. Assist with physical Inventory counts and reconciliation. Hard inventory count done twice a year and regular inventory done monthly. Assist with tagging of new merchandise and preparing merchandise for store floor.
Also assist with creating promotions to move products. Work closely with spa management team to coordinate retail offering with seasonal services and assist with seasonal inventory buying. Be knowledgeable in basic Dataworks inventory system, ePro, all other applicable operating systems. Be knowledgeable about and be able to promote designated spa location: services, directions, menu items, hours of operation etc. Help work the boutique for the spa. Be open to working nights, weekends, and select holidays. Complete other tasks assigned within job scope assigned by management
This is a part time position with shifts on weekdays and weekends varying between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
