About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Personnel Office on Patrick SFB, FL. This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement, Annual and Sick Leave. Scheduled hours will be 40 per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: NF-03 Qualifications: Experience interpreting and applying NAF HR rules, regulations and procedures in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work: utilizing recruitment tolls in hiring personnel (i.e., generating job postings, job fairs, or equivalent); advising on routine recruitment strategies, troubleshooting and resolving personnel system and software issues. Experience in processing a variety of personnel actions. Experience in utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel). NF-02 Qualifications: Experience in performing clerical work and providing customer service to internal and external customers; applying rules, regulations, and procedures in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work; utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel).

(Change dates as needed for the job announcement) This position is a developmental position and therefore the most qualified applicants will be referred. If there are NF-03 qualified applicants those applicants will be referred as among the most qualified. The primary purpose of this position is to provide HR advisory service and support to service management and employees. Serves as a reliable source of information on procedural and regulatory requirements pertaining to HR personnel matters. Provides guidance and informational resources to supervisors and employees. Explains employee rights and responsibilities. Receives and reviews personnel action requests and supporting documents for validity and completion. Explains hiring preferences and priority considerations in the recruitment process to management and/or applicants. Formulates position qualifications for job announcement postings. Creates and releases job opportunity announcements. Verifies applicant eligibilities and makes qualification determination of applications. Issues certificate to management and audit returned certificate to validate selections. Completes assigned and applicable onboarding tasks/responsibilities. Prepares and conducts in-processing. Computes rates of pay on all increases (pay adjustments and step increases) for employees in activities serviced to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensure personnel documents are placed into the official personnel file. Conducts and provides employees with benefits briefings. Enters personnel data into the automated NAF Personnel data system. Maintains official employee personnel records and files. Responsible for processing and tracking status of installation records checks, state criminal history repository checks, and national agency checks. May research and download forms and publications and post updates to directives. May participate in planning and conducting the local NAF wage survey IAW regulatory guidance.
