Job Description:
This position is located at Fort Riley's Automotive Skills Center. Announcement has a two week cutoff. Eligible applicants will be sent to management for consideration. Provide technical assistance/training to patrons in the performance of self help automotive repairs ranging from simple to complex, including overhaul of engines, transmissions, and bodywork.
Inform patrons of shop policies and provides instruction on safe and efficient operation of all equipment and tools.
Provide individual and class instruction to military personnel and other eligible patrons. Develops lesson plans and prepares training aids and other instructional materials. Compiles data for reports and writes reports as necessary.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to employees, trains new employees, and directs work while providing task instruction.
Collects fees, safeguards funds and equipment, and orders equipment/supplies.
