Job Description:
You will serve as a LEAD PROGRAM ANALYST in the NAVAL UNDERSEA WARFARE CENTER DIVISION of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing or advising on all phases of program and financial management, including budgeting, workload planning, audit readiness, and cost execution using Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems. You will perform and advise on all phases of financial and program management, including budgeting, workload planning, audit readiness, and cost execution using an Enterprise Resource Planning system.
You will be responsible for accrual and carryover management, overhead and service cost center execution, workload planning, and financial reporting.
You will analyze and recommend cost-effective financial practices, interpret and implement regulatory controls, and advise on optimal use of funds to support organizational priorities.
You will coordinate across customer advocates, project managers, resource managers, and ERP functional experts to implement financial policy.
You will mentor a team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques, provide advice on methods, practices and procedures, and assist in identifying viable solutions.
You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to ensure requirements are met.
