Job Description:

You will serve as an Electrical Engineer in the NAWCAD of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Planning, coordinating and participating actively as the technical expert for complex support equipment projects; 2) Managing, prioritizing and accomplishing program tasks on time and within budget such as budget estimates and project milestones; 3) Generating and approving deviations from standard design and operating procedures and reviewing, evaluating and providing recommendations to all proposed modifications to the existing system for overall improvements, reliability and operational safety; 4) Developing, implementing, evaluating, and improving processes; 5) Generating acquisition strategy planning for determination of future support equipment requirements; Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series AND https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0800/files/all-professional-engineering-positions-0800.pdf Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). You will provide electrical engineering technical information, advice, counsel, direction, and critical decision to other engineers, technicians, and managers.
You will develop plans, budget estimates, and project milestones for critical engineering tasks required for the identification, fielding and support of assigned equipment.
You will analyze electrical system or equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective action including troubleshooting required to restore operational readiness, specification, technical, and contractual requirements.
