Job Description:

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SURFACE LAUNCH MISSILE DIVISION, SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Seal Beach, CA detachment.
For the NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing an Ordnance Information System (OIS) to perform Fleet logistical support tasks to include data entry, material verification and report generation for the movement of ordnance materials. For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05 through GS-08 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing a logistics management information system or database to perform data entry, material verification and report generation to provide logistical support to the Fleet. You will provide logistical support to the Fleet, contributing to the smooth flow of ordnance and related materials.
You will participate in various facets of supply operations, including receipt, issue, storage, segregation and inventory management.
You will utilize the Ordnance Information System (OIS) for basic data entry, retrieval and report generation.
You will review requisitions for accuracy, verifying basic material availability using the OIS.
You will support space control and inventory management activities to include that layout and organization of warehouses, sheds and magazines.
You will demonstrate a commitment to data integrity, identifying and flagging discrepancies and adhering to established coding conventions and documentation standards within the OIS.
