This position is in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Chillicothe VA Medical Center (VAMC). The position is in the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Shop, Facilities Management Service (FMS) and works under the direct supervision of the M&O Supervisor.

Duties include, but are not limited to: Lifts, moves, and assembles moderately heavy objects such as furniture and equipment by hand, hand truck or dolly. Maintains grounds using manual equipment to fill holes, rake leaves, or dig ditches. Uses simple powered equipment such push lawn mowers, edgers, trimmers, etc. to maintain grounds. Collects and empties garbage cans. Operates large, industrial, walking-type power mowers and/or simple riding-type mowers. Shovels snow and performs other related duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Compressed tour available.
