Job Description:
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS) in the CHIEF OF STAFF (N01) of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advice and guidance to managers on a full range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary and adverse action, leave administration and hours of work, and performance management; and conducting review and interpretation of applicable law, regulation, and policy on various human resources subjects. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting a senior Human Resources Specialist with research and advice to managers on issues related to employee relations, performance management, and/or awards, and drafting appropriate correspondence on human resources matters. You will provide Employee Relations (ER) advice and guidance to a complex organization.
You will advise and assist appointed investigating officers on investigations, including management inquiries, preliminary inquiries, and other administrative investigations, to ensure investigations are effective, efficient, and legally sufficient.
You will provide advisory services on all components of the performance management process, including planning, monitoring, rating, and rewarding performance.
You will administer the civilian performance appraisal program for assigned organizations to ensure mandatory requirements such as issuance of employee performance plans, mid-year reviews, and final appraisals are met in a timely manner.
You will provide advice and guidance to personnel throughout the Command and subordinate organizations on leave administration and attendance matters.
You will develop, modify, and conduct the presentation of training on telework, wellness, and other work-life programs.
