Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as senior liaison for accounting, audit, and/or financial management policies and procedures; 2) Applying knowledge of DOD/DON financial management concepts, principles, laws, and regulations for financial system; 3) Using knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system platforms; 4) Planning, developing, and/or managing an integrated financial management system; 5) Planning, developing, and/or modifying financial policies; 6) Preparing accounting reports for an organization; 6) Providing advice concerning the accounting and fiscal audits for an organization. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26. Eligible DoD career or career conditional employees shall be granted statutory return rights to their former position for a period of 5 years if continuously employed in a foreign or non-foreign area provided by Executive Order 10895 and DoDI 1400.25, v 1230. Employees that do not exercise their return rights within five years are no longer eligible for return rights and will be treated as a local hire. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will serve as liaison for financial management policy and procedures within an organization.
You will Perform cost or financial analysis to assess the financial condition of a program.
You will Compile data using a financial management system.
You will Develop financial plans to align funds to further the mission, goals, and objectives of an organization.
You will Assign and reassign financial administration personnel to meet changing workloads and projects.
