This position is located at Roadrunner Bowling Center, White Sands Missile Range, NM. 1. Work experience directly related to the duties describe above. 2. Knowledge of electrical principles and operating characteristics of electrical and electronic components for application as in the duties described. *Highly Preferred - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria. 1. Minimum of 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience. 2. Minimum of 1 year of electrical maintenance experience. Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list.
Maintain, adjust, and repairs a variety of bowling equipment. Typical equipment services include automatic pin placing machines, automatic scorers, ball returns, telescore and telefoul units, and ball drilling machines.
Diagnoses equipment malfunctions, while referring to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams using test equipment such as continuity testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and feeler gauges.
Conduct operational checks; visually checking for worn or damaged parts, traces wiring, disassembles, and making necessary adjustments, repairs or replaces defective parts, cleans, lubricates, and reassembles the equipment.
Follows preventive schedules. Determining which mechanical assemblies are malfunctioning, what parts and mechanisms can be reworked or should be replaced with new parts, and the types of adjustments and alignments required.
Make repairs and adjustments as needed on re-timing cams and gears; measuring and regulating the sweep of rakes; replacing broken or worn pins, rods, brushes, bolts, belts, tension springs; filing contact points; and cleaning and lubricating parts.
Repair cracks, chips, and splinters in bowling pins and lanes. Using wood plastic and lane stock, sands surfaces, and re-coat them with appropriate finishes. Performs other duties as assigned.
