Job Description:
This SUPERVISORY AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR) position, is located at an Air National Guard (ANG) flying wing and is part of the CA 146 AW.
General Experience: Possess experience in functions such as preparing aircraft loading plans, loading and offloading aircraft, operating loading equipment, and ensuring security of cargo in flight. SUPERVISORY AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2185-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-10 level experience in ensuring metrics are established and monitored to assess key result areas for successful mission accomplishment including, but not limited to, items where non-compliance would affect system reliability or result in serious injury, loss of life, excessive cost, or litigation; Experience managing the Loadmaster Standardization evaluation program; Experience developing and providing instruction on MAFFS, fire behavior and inflight MAFF duties to US as well as foreign nationals. THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2185-11, is to serve as a first level supervisor over subordinate loadmasters and as an aircrew member. Plans, directs, and manages operational and training matters pertaining to assigned loadmasters. In addition, performs aircrew duties as an instructor loadmaster in the unit type aircraft (C-17, C-32 and C-130 Series aircraft). May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
