Job Description:

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Group, Business and Financial Operations Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Advising on work in any of the phases/systems of budget administration while displaying knowledge of financial systems to include Navy ERP; (2) Formulating the budget and estimating support plans, programs, and activities to also include knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws and regulations of budgeting and/or finance; (3) Presenting and defending budget estimates, reviewing and evaluating budget requests, and also reporting on obligations and expenditures; (4) Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations, to also include implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; and (5) Providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will perform duties such as formulation of budget/estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.
You will review and evaluate budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities.
