This HR SPECIALIST (R/P/C) position, is located in the JFHQ-State Human Resources Office (HRO) and is part of the CA JFHQ J1 HRO. This Vacancy is being advertised concurrently with Technician Vacancy CA-12774535-AR-25-409, CA-12773131-AR-25-408 and CA-12773123-AR-25-410. Only one of the announced positions will be filled.
General Experience: Possess experience analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; planning and organizing work; and communicating effectively orally and in writing. HR SPECIALIST (R/P/C), GS-0201-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level experience in executing personnel programs and Human Resources Information Systems and advising supervisors and managers; Experience in personnel and manpower core competencies; Experience in applying program policies, directives, publications, and training manuals. THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the HR SPECIALIST (R/P/C), GS-0201-11, is to provide support for recruitment and placement, military technician compatibility, permanent change of station moves, pay setting, recruitment/retention/relocation (3R) incentives, advanced in-hire rates, and reduction-in-force actions. Work is performed for both Army (ARNG) and Air National Guard (ANG) full-time employees within the State. Trains and provides technical assistance to lower graded specialists. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
