This HR SPECIALIST (R/P/C) position, is located in the JFHQ-State Human Resources Office (HRO) and is part of the CA JFHQ J1 HRO. This Vacancy is being advertised concurrently with Technician Vacancy CA-12774535-AR-25-409, CA-122776251-AR-25-411 and CA-12773131-AR-25-408. Only one of the announced positions will be filled.
General Experience: Must possess experience, education or training in the management, supervision, and administration of human resources management products or services. HR SPECIALIST (R/P/C), GS-0201-9: Must have experience advertising positions, processing assignments or reassignment actions; reviewing human resources programs; Experience with merit principles, personnel plans, programs, and policies to guide or advise others on their implementation activities; Experience in applying program policies, directives, publications, and training manuals; Experience providing advice and support to managers, supervisors, and the Human Resources Officer on recruitment and placement matters for a variety of professional, administrative, technical and clerical occupations. THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the HR SPECIALIST (R/P/C), GS-0201-9, is to provide support for recruitment and placement, military technician compatibility, permanent change of station moves, pay setting, recruitment/retention/relocation (3R) incentives, advanced in-hire rates, and reduction-in-force actions. Work is performed for either Army (ARNG) or Air National Guard (ANG) full-time employees within the State. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
