Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing oversight and coordination for all financial issues pertaining to an organization (e.g. fiscal planning, programming and budgeting, accounting system maintenance, internal management control, etc.); interpreting complex and diverse fiscal regulations to disseminate guidance to those at the installation level; and applying cost analysis and forecasting techniques to establish priorities for resource allocation and execution of budgets consistent with long term mission, goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing and directing an integrated system of financial staff services to include planning, programming, budgeting, civilian payroll, resource evaluation and analysis, accounting and financial reporting.
You will improve and reengineer business process initiatives, and develop, maintain and standardize Common Output Levels of Support (COLS).
You will guide the command's strategic resource management planning process and interpret and implement the financial policy and procedures applicable to the region.
You will guide the establishment, implementation and maintenance of integrated and automated financial management reporting and information systems.
You will ensure that timely and accurate financial information is made available to the Commanding General and their subordinate commanders from the Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS).
You will guide management review of non-appropriated fund instrumentalities and provide training to management personnel on all pertinent financial matters.
You will assign work based on priorities and employee capability, evaluate employee performance, and provide advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work-related and administrative matters.
